The Kadam/Gelug Lam Rim Lineage

The Lam Rim teachings were written by the Indian Monk Atiśa Dipamkara Srijñana (982-1054) during his stay in Tibet. This highly condensed and profound teaching is the subject of many commentaries written by, Gampopa (originally a Kadam monk), Je Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug Order , as well as others. The Kadam Lam Rim transmission is one of the three tramsmissions which served as cornerstones for the establishment of the early Gelug Schoool by Je Tsongkhapa (Lobsang Drakpa).
